CEB Developer Portal (including sandbox and APIs)

 

Introduction

 

Credit Europe Developer Portal is provided to you by Credit Europe Bank (Romania) SA. (“CEB”). The Credit Europe Developer Portal (“the Portal”) gives you the opportunity to create an application, view documentation and other relevant materials, obtain credentials, and request support, as all this tools and applications are made available by CEB from time to time in its discretion.

The Portal is subject to these Terms of Use. We may periodically review and update these Terms whenever necessary and updated document being made available to you on this web site.

Where possible, CEB will provide prior notice of any such action, but CEB reserves the right to do so without prior notice. Modifications and changes to the CEB Developer Portal and its content may affect applications you have created on the CEB Developer Portal. CEB will not be liable for any loss or damage resulting therefrom.

Please note that CEB may grant your application access to certain Application Programming Interfaces (“APIs”) and to the testing environment (“sandbox”), which contains dummy data. Through sandbox, registered users may test functionalities and features of their payment applications by using test data and data field structures provided by CEB. The user registration to sandbox does not mean that the user will be selected for forward testing procedures by CEB in later stage.

 

 

Your Registration to the Portal

 

To access and use certain parts and functionalities of the Portal, including the sandbox and APIs, you must first register on through the website at https://developer.sandbox.crediteurope.ro/portal/

If you register or work on behalf of a company, you acknowledge you are legally authorized to bind your company to these Terms of Use. If you are registered as a natural person, you acknowledge you are 18 years or older.

You will immediately notify CEB about any amendments in your submitted information to tppsupport@crediteurope.ro.  

CEB reserves the right to approve registration demands and may reject your application in its discretion without the need to provide any reasons.

You must keep credentials secret and take any measure that can reasonably be expected to ensure their security

 

Rules governing your use of the Portal.

 

By registering as a user of sandbox, you acknowledge, confirm and agree that:

 

1.     The information you provided to CEB in order to use the sandbox is accurate, correct and complete.

2.     CEB does not warrant in any way your product or services.

3.     You may not use CEB’s name, logo, trademarks, copyrights or another intellectual property or business secret without prior written approval from CEB, on a case by case bases. Use of sandbox or APIs does not constitute any transfer of intellectual property rights. CEB may however, use the feedback submitted to CEB to improve and develop its services without limitations or obligations towards you.

4.     You are responsible for protecting your hardware, software, data and other material from viruses, malware, and other internet security risks. The Portal and the sandbox are provided “as is”, and use of the theme is entirely on your own risk. CEB expressly disclaims any liability, whether in contract, tort, strict liability or otherwise, for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive or special damages arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Portal, and/or any other websites.

5.     You agree not to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of sandbox, the server on which sandbox resides, or any other server, computer, or database connected to CEB.

6.     You are responsible for all activities that occur when you use the CEB Portal, including the sandbox and APIs. You must comply with and act in accordance with all instructions, documentation and system, software and other requirements as stated on and/or made available by CEB in connection with the Portal, including the sandbox and APIs. You must comply with all legal requirements and refrain from creating content that is unlawful or otherwise objectionable, or that may harm CEB’s reputation or the integrity of the financial system.

7.    You will indemnify CEB against any direct, indirect and/or consequential loss, damage, cost and expense (including legal expenses) incurred by CEB and arising from or in connection with your use of the Portal, including any breach of these Terms.You are prohibited from any of the following activities: reverse engineer, disassemble, reconstruct any object code, any CEB sandbox data, the API or any other data provided by CEB in connection with the Portal; seek for unauthorized access to services or systems; engage in any activity that prevents any other developer from using the sandbox content; use any application to collect information about other developers and introduce any viruses or other malicious code.

8.    CEB does not warrant the error free and uninterrupted service of the CEB Developer Portal, including the sandbox and APIs. If you notice any problems or security incidents during your use of the CEB  Developer Portal, you must notify CEB immediately by sending an email to tppsupport@crediteurope.ro. The information provided on the Portal or in connection therewith shall not constitute any investment, legal or tax advice. Any opinions are subject to change without notice. No guarantee is offered as to the accuracy, completeness or appropriateness of the information or estimates relating to the Portal or in connection therewith.

 

Termination of your Registration

 

CEB may terminate your registration and access to the Portal and to the sandbox at any time without prior notice and without the need to provide any reasons. Your registration will automatically terminate if you breach any of these Terms. Upon termination, any rights which are granted to you under these Terms will automatically cease.

In case of termination, CEB will block your access to the Portal. CEB is not responsible for any compensation or any damages incurred or to be incurred in connection with any termination in accordance with this Terms of Use.

If and insofar you gain knowledge of or receive confidential information in connection with the Portal or APIs, you must treat such information with strict confidentiality and you may not disclose the same to third parties, both during your registration to the Portal and after your registration ceases.

 

Miscellaneous.

 

Governing law and jurisdiction

 

Should any provision of these Terms become invalid, the validity of the Terms as a whole shall remain unaffected.

The invalid provision must be replaced by a valid provision within the context of the remaining contractual interpretation which corresponds to the economic intent and purpose of these rules as a whole. In case of litigation, the place of jurisdiction shall be Bucharest, Romania. These Terms are subject to Romanian law.
